So the new vista-user with administration rights had the following folder "C:\Users\AnnoWorkaround\appdata\Roaming\Ubisoft\A nno1404\Profiles\XXXXXXXXXX.profile". I then changed Vista-user to the "AndWorkaround" and copied the profile (With folders) to my then empty "appdata\Roaming"-folder. I then copied my profile wich i used up to this point from "C:\Users\USERNAME\appdata\Roaming\Ubisoft\Anno140 4\Profiles\XXXXXXXXXX.profile" and saved it to a non-vista profile-location eg h:\whatever_public_folder\
Maybe if you have more than one the installer let's you choose who will have acess to the game, i don't know.Īnyways, i created a new profile "AnnoWorkAround" and gave it administrator rights.
Since i only had one profile and i am the only one using my computer i needed to create a new profile. I tried the "new profile"-workaround and it worked. LADIES rename the folder of your "my documents" to "Documents" Tell me how it goes YES!!! ITS IS WORKING!!! I then loaded up the game and saved it, and pressed load game and there was my game! I then pressed apply, and went into Customize folder and made sure it was a documents folder (Not sure if necessary). I then went to my original Documents Folder and right clicked it, went into the Location tab and changed the directory already there to: I then made a Documents folder, an Anno 1404 folder inside that and then a Savegames folder inside thatĬ:\Users\Username\Documents\Anno 1404\Savegames Since my documents etc are all saved on a network server (External hdd etc), it would not work for some reason.
You have to make sure the place it is saving is set as Documents. So it was as if it wasn't even saving it. My problem was that when I saved, my saved game would not be there when I pressed load game.
